Ranagül

Ranagül here! I am 21 years old, and I am currently studying Communication and Multimedia Design at Hogeschool Rotterdam. Since I can remember, I have always loved music and reading. During my time in high school, I discovered that I also really enjoy painting and find it very relaxing. However, I do find it difficult to maintain my brushes in good condition, but I am working on it.

I grew up in a mixed culture and I am fluent in two languages other than English. This also means that I am able to easily view different situations from multiple perspectives and can easily put myself in someone else’s shoes. Social interaction is very important to me, and I get a lot of energy from being around others. I never let gravity pull my smile down. In complicated and frustrating situations, I always think, ‘if you can’t pull it, you must push it’.

My Approach

Connect

I engage with users and stakeholders to deeply understand needs and motivations. Connecting enables informed design decisions, ensuring relevance and impact by aligning with real insights and core challenges.

Concept

I transform insights into actionable ideas. This stage balances creativity with strategy, exploring solutions while keeping user needs and business goals in mind. Concepting provides a clear vision that effectively guides the design process.

Create

Ideas become reality through prototypes and designs. This phase focuses on refining usability and aesthetics, turning concepts into polished solutions that deliver a seamless, satisfying user experience through careful iteration and feedback.

  • She is always open to fun and creative ideas. Rana discusses and approaches everything with a lot of respect. She always speaks in a calm manner and is a great listener, taking into account other people's opinions and ideas.
